1958-62 Rechromed Bumpers
This service is for re-chroming bumpers used on 1958-62 Corvettes. The bumpers are plated and returned to you. The core submitted must be a good useable core and have no rust through, broken bolts, or have extra holes drilled into the bumpers as we cannot fix the holes and present the customer with a show quality product. 1953-62 Rechromed Windshield Posts
Your windshield posts are plated and returned to you. Extra care is given to the cores by assigning a job number to your core to insure only yours is returned to you. Cores having extra drilled holes for tonneau covers are not acceptable as cores as the holes are not repairable. Reasonably pitted cores are not a problem. If tabs are broken see next item for repair. Time: 2-3 weeks

1953-62 Windshield Posts Lower Tab Repair
The lower tab on the leading edge of the windshield post is prone to being broken off. A repair service is offered where a tool steel tab is fabricated in the same configuration as the original, then inserted in a milled pocket in the post. When completed, the tab is several times stronger than the original and has the same configuration as the original allowing a perfect installation. The two stud holes are heli-coiled and new studs are provided to insure a perfect repair. All repairs are done prior to plating. Time: 2 weeks

1953-62 Rechromed Door Posts
Your door posts are plated and returned to you. Extra care is given to the cores by assigning a job number to insure only yours is returned to you. Please remove window felt, rivets, screws, and weatherstrip adhesive to assure a quality plating job. Cores having extra drilled holes for tonneau covers are not acceptable as the holes are not repairable. Reasonably pitted cores are not a problem. Time: 2-3 weeks

1953-62 Wiper Motors Restoration
Driver: Aluminum surfaces cleaned to original finish. The motor is disassembled, cleaned, & tested. Parts like the armature and switch are functional tested and restored. Components that were cadmium plated are painted to resemble plating. Missing or damaged parts are additional. Time: 3-4 weeks

Show: Complete rebuild as above including cadmium plating on surfaces originally plated. This level is reserved Corvettes requiring absolute show car perfection. Time: 3-4 weeks

Clocks have a state of the art quartz movement installed. Clocks are cleaned, case restored, and new lens installed. Time: 2-3 weeks

Same as Tachs above. We do have reproduction chrome bezels and new lens that we suggest replacing to present a stellar appearance. Bezel cost is $96. and the lens is additional $48. Typically these units run $200-$300 inclusive all parts. Time: 3-4 weeks
